Association fights Licensing of
Rental Housing in Hamilton
HDAA has released a Report outlining
its opposition to licensing
Hamilton ON, November 1st 2012:
The HDAA is gathering its forces to
battle the City's proposed licensing
of Rental Properties in Hamilton.
They have released a report
outlining their opposition to
licensing with alternate solutions
to help solve the rental issues in
Hamilton.

The September 18[sup]th
City of Hamilton Planning Committee
meeting saw a large number of
opponents to licensing, many of whom
spoke passionately about their
desire to stop licensing in
Hamilton. The HDAA is expecting the
December 11[sup]th[/sup] Planning
Committee meeting draw a higher
attendance and have a wider variety
of groups against licensing.
HDAA has been strongly
promoting Hamilton as a place to
invest; part of that effort is the
upcoming "Strategic Real Estate
Investing in Hamilton". This is a
free event that is open to the
public at the Waterfront Center (555
Bay Street N) on Nov 7th [/sup]
7-9pm.
