Hardwood floor repair: Any referrals for Edmonton?

I recently did a move out inspection with a tenant and 1 bedroom has significant water damage to the original hardwood floor. About a 5 sqft area in the middle of the room has swelled. Room is approx 120 sqft total. I`ve got a couple questions, maybe some experts out there may have insight to.

1) Is there a possibility of repairing just the affected area? If not, I`d probably replace with laminate.
2) Any referrals for handyman who could give an estimate for the repair?
