Chris from Park insurance (thanks for speedy reply) has helped by giving info I should be asking broker.
Info I missed, the refinished duplex is over is 100 years old, so there is depreciation, I have been with this insurance company for 3 years, will be getting in touch with broker tomorrow.
Also found out, if moving out of province I will be needing to find a insurance broker in that area. We are having a custom built home built we will be required to have a builder risk insurance policy for between 12-15 months, once done build is done, then chance over to primary residence.
