High Population Centres in deep freeze

Even though here in Alberta we are experiencing a relatively mild January and February, what really counts for gas prices (and drawdown of gas inventories) are the big population centres in the U.S. Those are really in the deep freeze - see attached charts as to how much lower than average (temperature anomaly). And... it is to last for another week or so.

Its always good to put things in perspective. The speaker in January for Ontario REIN meetnig was from oil and gas industry.

To put things in perspective, there is such an oversupply of natural gas, that industry is just starting to utilize the natural gas that was drilled three years ago...imagine buying into a housing market with a three year supply of homes on the market
