How to obtain contact details of a seller with only the address of the house for sale, in Berlin?

Hi All



Can anyone help me brainstorm creative ways to get in contact with the person selling a house my friend wants to buy in Berlin? He wants to discuss making a very generous deal with them.



The house was advertised at an auction over the weekend, but the auctioneer now says it has been cancelled and will not provide any further information. So we only have the address of the house for sale.



After searching the Land Registry, the only information we could obtain was that the house is owned by Mrs.Muller. However in Germany Muller is about as common as Smith in North America.



Any ideas about how I can find this person as soon as possible? Basically with only an address of the house for sale and last name?



Anybody familiar with the Berlin system? Not me!

Consider hiring a private detective, or ask the neighbors.



To check what else is for sale go to the largest German real estate website here: www.immoscout24.de There are plenty of other good assets for sale. Plenty. Especially in a city of over 2,000,000 people !

Yes we tried asking the neighbors but no one seems to know her. The house has been empty for a few years.



Yes we might consider hiring a private detective, but only as a last resort.



Anyone have any other creative ideas?
