Can anyone recommend a lawyer familiar with Rent-to-Own.
I need a referral for a tenant buyer.
I am using Barry McQuire myself.

Peter Semonick of Lovatt LLP is familiar with RTO. I normally use him for my side of the transaction, but he has advised others on option contracts and therefore could assist the tenant buyer.

Hi Brenda:
May be too late by now, but as Barry always says, the verbiage to your tenant buyer is best stated "Our last rent to own client used XYZ lawyor". His message is to help clear any legal (conflict of interest) issues during the term, especially if this is in an email. I haven't heard of any experiences from the team yet, but it can't hurt.
