I have a few questions regarding the topic of learning about real estate law.

First, does anybody know any really good online resources or books for covering, in detail, the laws regarding buying and selling real estate in Canada and also the US?

I believe there is a technical term for "flipping" a property. Could somebody please remind me what it is? I believe certain real estate lawyers could even specialize in it. (It is flipping, I could just swear there was a legal term for it).

I intend on speaking with a real estate lawyer myself eventually. However I feel, that at this point, I would have so many questions covering really basic and fundamental law that it would probably be far less expensive to search online and try to network with experienced investors.

Thank you in advance for any insight you choose to share. I really appreciate it.

Read read read, say Don Campbell, Donald Trump, mine, Russel Wescott , Mark Loeffler, Julia Broad, Ozzie Jurrock, ... Then join an incubation network such as REIN when you're ready to act, or 6-12 month before.

Flipping is a shorter term hold period ie rather than years or decades, minutes to weeks. The main platforms it pimarily works on are spreadsheets and midnight infomercials; and for the experienced cash buyer also in the real world. Not a novice nor a low risk nor a low cash strategy but one you can master in time.
