Manitoba RTB Closing the 3-plex loophole shortly

For those of you investing in Manitoba, the RTB recently made an announcement regarding the inclusion of duplexes and 3-plexes in rent regulations. Up to now, landlords were free to set the rent at market rents after a tenant moved out. That "loophole" as the RTB calls it is being closed shortly. This was one of the few ways to improve cashflow in Manitoba. Investors should begin to look elsewhere...
