Labour shortage hurting Regina's growth
In the annual State of the Chamber address Wednesday, John Hopkins said attracting and retaining workers is a critical issue for the local business community.
"We believe the current situation is akin to a perfect storm," Hopkins said.
"On the one hand, our economy is growing very well and shows little signs of letting up, which`creates the need for thousands of employees. On the other hand, Saskatchewan's existing workforce is aging."
