I was hoping someone could help with this. I recently changed insurance companies to save $100 a month on my primary residence. I had a duplex and the previous insurance company and now as of November is cancelling the coverage because it is now a stand alone rental. I got a quote from the new company (hb insurance) but they want to add the charge to my home insurance monthly bill and plus they will only insure 3 properties total. Can someone recommend a insurance company that will insure more than one rental property as a stand alone policy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I live in Ontario.
