Mushrooms growing in the suffot

Well I thought the pic I saw of mold growing under the laird base board was a strange thing...until today when I saw mushrooms growing in the sofots of one of my house!!!

Any know who deals with this in the Port Coquitlam area. Obviously we need to fix this quickly.

I assume by sofot you mean soffit, mold or mushroom or moss growth are usually caused by excessive moisture accumulation. In the case of soffit, it can be the result of over-flown gutters, improper fascia flashing or insufficient attic ventilation. Call a roofer to come have a look.



Are you sure it's mushroom, not a wasp nest?
