Cpt Mitch here, hello. I have finally worked my way up the ladder to Home Ownership yeah!!! I have purchased a 5bedroom house that has been converted to a two rental suites. Problem although real estate advertisements used old pictures and wrong appliances included, after viewing the property I decided to put a bid quickly saving 20 000 off the asking price. It was accepted. Now I am moving into the property both tenants want to stay but old landlord has issued eviction, can one stay and not the other or should they both go?My plans are to reside on the 3brm suite and rent out 2brm side. Any advise welcome...

You should be able to do what you want but you will need to know your tenant board regulations in the province you reside.

Check your codes.
