Noise issues if I use laminate flooring throughout?

This is by now means an experts opinion but...

I think it is not recommended but I`m sure some have done this. I also think that that the thinner laminants might break or seperate due to the flexibility of the underlay/carpet. The thicker laminants might work better. Consult your local expert.
