Sadly, too many people jump into a Joint Venture without ensuring that the two parties have CLEAR and DEFINABLE roles and expectations. Thanks Russell for starting this conversation!

Yes Don, too many! 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine was telling me about himself and his brother partnering on a property on the East coast(he's in AB. and brother in NL). We had a chat, in which I didn't discourage him from doing it, but mentioned many of tools in Russells JV Secrets. Last week , he told me he came up with the idea to buy on his own with a property manager. I did't say anything, but I think he took the conversation to heart......lol.

The leadership you showed in this situation (without judging him or discouraging him) probably saved him a lot of heartache. Sharing knowledge and info is critical. Well done Gary!
