Property tax in high rise

I am planning to get a unit in a pre construction condo.

It said the property tax is estimated to be 1%. It is located in toronto.

When I checked the city of toronto figures, it should be 0.79%. Why is it different?

Taxes are usually below 1% in big cities but could exceed 2% in small towns. Check some comparable existing condos for a rough % estimate.
