Was wondering if you could provide any recommendations for a good insurance company that covers not just property insurance but also loss of rent, betterments, etc.?
I've been with State Farm for a year, and have not had a good experience with them recently re: a claim for significant water damage in one of my condo conversion suites. Even though their insurance policy was quite good on the surface and reasonably priced, they've been terrible with being willing to pay out on a claim that's very straightforward and was due to the negligence of another owner in the suite above mine.
Anyways, I have my properties in my personal name, so can't go with an insurance company that only does corporate.
