Time of the season?

I was wondering what the mindset is/should be for investors at the moment and why? Is it the time to do your research (winter) and wait for spring?

I`ve been trying to make sense of the economic fundamentals and how they relate to RE in order to build a solid foundation as a professional RE investor. I could use some help in further educating myself in this regard.\
