toll free number in Canada

Hi

A lot of my rental ad responses are coming from people out of town so it occured to me that I might be able to increase my response rate a little with a toll free number.

I`ve spent some time researching companies online and was ready to commit but when I called I found out that it was going to be an exra 10 cents/minute to accept calls from Canadian callers. It was still only around $10/month and 15 cents/min so the total amount isn`t something that would put me in the poor house but there must be better out there. All I want is a service that forwards toll free calls to my office or cell phone [pref cell]

Anyone have any suggestions or experience to share?

Check out http://les.net/products/product_ip800.php.

$2.50 per month, plus $0.04 per minute of calls coming in plus $0.015/minute for anything that is forwarded out of the system to another number (like your cell). So bottom line for you would be $2.50 plus $0.055/minute.

I use them for a similar purpose, but with a local number. Their website is ugly, but the technology works great.
