Yesterday on my travels I notice a vacant house in a good neighbourhood, corner lot, house looks a little sad and neglected. There is no sign or listing and an 800 # in the window that says specifically not to call re listing or sale, just about utilities etc.

What would be the quickest way to track down the owners or sellers??

check the title .. online or via lawyer ! Then send letter or phone him !

could be a drug op ?

You could also start by knocking on neighbours doors. You will be truly amazed at the information you can obtain by performing this simple exercise. I used to emply an "ant farm" of people that used to bring me information on houses just like this. Give it a try!

I switched my focus to purchasing PRETTY houses instead of the UGLY ones, and my marketing machine was providing me with some pretty great (under market) deals!

Thanks Tony, I`ll give it a try next week, life still goes on, I still have a job, have tenants moving out and new tenants moving in next week, leases to update.
RLG would be telling me to do less I`m sure.
Not sure how to set up the ant farm without it becoming prohibitively expensive.
