You could use kijiji and put a free listing, but I find it's worth to spend a few bucks to make the ad featured.

Around here there's lots of great Facebook groups too. It's a tenants' market and lots of smart tenants are putting up a wish list and landlords respond to them.

I get more responses from https://www.zumper.com/pro?pm (padmapper) than Kijiji these days. In Kijiji, I use only the free based ads and repost weekly. Paying for kijiji ads in not much effective for us now that there are other players. Problem with kijiji is the mobile interface is not that good.
