Thanks for all the great tips everybody. I'm awaiting instructions from the main customer on what they need and execute a plan from there.

Hiring good people in a tough market.....any tips?

I realize this isn't real estate related but I'm pretty sure some people on here can help me out. Especially the people running a business in Alberta! I recently started managing an Electrical/Instrumentation company in Cold Lake Alberta. One of my first challenges will be to hire some people...

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I really don't have much to add but wanted to mention I appreciate the comments. I'm currently working on a non-real estate success that I hope to add to this over the next couple weeks. Stay tuned:)

Can REIN work for me right now

I'm a bit late with the reply, but here is my 2 cents.....and maybe that is all it is worth:) I read Don's book that Cory suggested above about 3 years ago (as well as Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and probably 10 others). With the knowledge I acquired then I found the confidence to finally buy 1...

Get HELOC out of your rental unit

I was able to get 75% LTV on my rental property but now that I'm getting stretched a bit I had to come up with 25% down for my most recent purchase (which came from my principal residence HELOC) Maybe one more before I need to start using JV money.

Success Stories...share your stories and Win Some Great Prizes

Great idea! By far my favourite articles in the REIN report are the success stories, no matter how big or small it is great to hear how others are taking action and achieving their goals. Really looking forward to reading them!
