So they would have the potential to lose even more money than anyone else involved with the deal?

Do they have money on the line in the event of mortgage default? Will the mortgage impact the funds they have available to borrow?

My personal opinion only I would not purchase it If you are needing to purchase something, go with a cheaper single unit house Duplex's can be a pain The rent to purchase price isn't high enough to justify the pain

Kir, Thomas has given good advice above. Contact your PM, they likely run viewings off of business hours, and if not, see if they are willing to accommodate your request, perhaps for additional fee if you are paying for limited service only.

My vote is #179 The other's convey a more gimmicky / less trustworthy impression. Please email me once the link is up or add my contact information to be notified once I can purchase the book.

Decisive action. Guarantees profits from paper to actual. Eliminates second guessing of should I refinance? should I have refinanced? should I upgrade? should I do the repair or replacement? Should I sell? etc. If you self manage, you also eliminate the time to manage.

Hi Matt When you are owed small amounts in the future you might want to consider a collection company. Your time and stress are often worth more than their fee.

I have no knowledge of them. Based on their website I would not want them managing or marketing my properties. I would call them only to see if they have WSIB and insurance and their rates for painting/drywall etc. if I needed a handyman.

The most enjoyable time is will be when you sell a rental property.

Great posts above. Another perspective is work with the renters. It often isn't possible to get them out in the preferred time line. An agreement to terminate tenancy, perhaps with cash to them, and help sourcing a few nearby options advertised for rent, will motivate many.
