I'm looking for opinions on buy investment in Windsor. Is Windsor good city to invest? Anyone have property in Windsor and have you had any issues with finding tenants. Also, I'm looking for a good property managers for I'm in Ottawa.

I have a tenant from Windsor who moved out to KWC for work and rents his house out. He has told me it is difficult to find and retain quality tenants and the rents there are very low. I would take a drive out and look for some better areas within the city to focus on if you choose to go there.

The best thing I can recommend is to take out your Goldmine Scorecard and start getting answers to the critical questions.

That region has drawn in many investors over time yet only a few would end up recommending it. The few who would are very hand-on, have incredibly well chosen and located properties with long term renters.

Check out the "for rent" ads on line for the region as an indicator. Also the unemployment rate history.
