I've been noticing something interesting lately and I'm curious if other investors here are experiencing the same thing.
There seems to be a lot of interest in off-market deals, yet the process of actually connecting buyers and sellers privately still feels incredibly fragmented.
Most of the time deals happen through:
personal networks
Facebook groups
word of mouth
wholesalers or bird dogs
But there doesn’t seem to be a centralized way for buyers and sellers to find each other directly without going through the traditional listing process.
I’m wondering:
• Are you actively looking for off-market opportunities?
• If so, how are you currently finding them?
• And if you’re a seller, would you consider selling privately before listing?
Feels like there’s a real gap here in the Canadian market.
Curious to hear how others are navigating this.
